The main cabin sleeps up to 8, with an optional RV suite that sleeps 2 more (10 total). Amenities include a 7.6-acre stocked fishing pond with bass and bluegill, a 6-person hot tub open year-round, a spring-fed pool and waterfall, miles of private trails, an outdoor kitchen, a premium coffee bar, an optional Polaris Ranger EV, fishing gear, kayak, canoe, pedal boat, fast fiber Wi-Fi, EV charging, and a backup generator. This is a relaxing place and a fun get away for our family. The attentiveness to every detail (towels, fragrance free and organic things) made this crunchy family so happy. Not to mention the emphasis on relaxing and enjoying our family by playing games fishing and talking in the hot tub. The coffee on the porch was to die for. We enjoyed being slow and we enjoyed the beauty of this home that was well thought through and prayed over. Such a blessing of a place and we were blessed being there. David and Theresa were responsive and generous. We are grateful!

We love animals, but we're not set up for pets at the cabin. To maintain our cleaning standards and keep the space comfortable for all guests—including those with allergies—we keep the cabin pet-free. There’s also wildlife on the property, and we want to keep everything here safe and undisturbed.
Small gatherings work well here—family get-togethers, retreats, and milestone celebrations.

We absolutely loved our stay at Whispering Pines Retreat! Everything was so thoughtfully stocked, and it really felt like we could just settle in and enjoy ourselves. Having so much space all to ourselves felt like such a luxury, and the peaceful, quiet setting was exactly what we needed. Our boys had the best time. It was their very first time fishing, and they actually caught fish, which was so exciting to watch. We spent evenings around the campfire making s'mores, and the loft quickly became their favorite place in the cabin. There was so much to do that we never got bored, but it also felt incredibly relaxing. It was one of those trips that just felt a little magical. We made so many great family memories, and before we even left we were already talking about when we could come back. We can't recommend it enough!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The property was beautiful, the home was fantastic, tons of amenities and the kids loved it. This was the perfect definition of what every airbnb should be. The home had everything you need at a stay away from home and the kitchen was impressively stocked including every type of normal spice, oils, multiple coffees, sugar/stevia, cream, nice tablewares, and every pot/pan ranging from nonstick to cast iron. In fact, we did not have to leave the home at any point to go get something menial or have to message the owners about not having enough of something. Would definitely recommend if you are someone just looking for a peaceful stay with a ton of outdoor space and activities.
If only there were more stars to give! There is nothing you will not love about this place. Every detail had so much thought and love put into it by David & Theresa. The drive up for the first time is simply breathtaking and only the beginning of a wonderful stay. Every view is beautiful and peaceful. The house is perfectly cozy, homey, sparkling clean and inviting. Love the natural, simplistic decor. All the furnishings are sturdy and thoughtfully chosen. The kitchen is stocked well with very nice dishes and utensils and everything extra. All the beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower and hot tub as well! We will be back and look forward to many more stays in this perfect little haven.
We had such a great and peaceful time at the Whispering Pines Retreat cabin! It was soooooo beautiful! The nature surround the cabin is breathtaking! The cabin itself is gorgeous! So beautifully decorated! I loved it! Our kids had a blast on the pedal boat and on the Ranger. We caught 4 little bass during our stay! And we saw 3 deers!!!! Our kids love the outdoors so this place was everything they ever wanted! We definitely would love to stay here again! The hosts were so responsive and attentive, I truly appreciated that
Pictures don't do this place justice! It was beautiful and peaceful the entire trip. Riding around exploring the trails was endless and fun. The trails were very clear and kept clean. The pond has tons of fish, even caught a 7.9lb bass!!! Lots and lots of bluegill right off the dock for my 5 year to catch all day long. The house was perfect and beds were comfy. Hot tub was great under the stars. I wouldn't change a thing about this place. Book it and enjoy!!
Whispering Pines Retreat was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail was unmatched—from multiple high-end coffee makers to choose from, to the big-ticket comforts like the hot tub and fire pit overlooking a beautifully stocked pond. The space was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The perfect balance between luxury and comfort.
