The main cabin sleeps up to 8 guests, with an optional private RV suite for 2 additional guests (10 total). Guests have exclusive use of the property during their stay—no shared spaces, neighboring guests, or public access. Amenities include a private 7.6-acre stocked fishing pond with bass and bluegill, a 6-person hot tub open year-round, spring-fed pool and waterfall, miles of private trails, a covered waterfront pergola with outdoor dining for 8, outdoor kitchen, premium coffee bar, optional Polaris Ranger EV, fishing gear, kayak, canoe, pedal boat, fast fiber Wi-Fi, EV charging, and backup generator. Whispering Pines is the perfect place to unwind and spend time in nature with the family. If you can, I highly recommend renting the Ranger to explore the property…so much fun! We saw deer, pretty wildflowers, and birds of all kinds. Even coming upon the neighbors cows was a treat. The pond level was lower than we’d hoped for but coming off a drought and hot, Texas summer it’s to be expected. Still caught fish though. David was excellent to work with. He answered every question we had with a quick response time. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the beds super comfy. Highly recommend!

We love animals, but we're not set up for pets at the cabin. To maintain our cleaning standards and keep the space comfortable for all guests—including those with allergies—we keep the cabin pet-free. There’s also wildlife on the property, and we want to keep everything here safe and undisturbed.
Small gatherings work well here—family get-togethers, retreats, and milestone celebrations. The covered pergola by the pond seats 8+ for a dinner outside.

Yes—indoors or out. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stovetop, dishwasher, cookware, baking tools, spices, and pantry staples, and the dining table inside seats 8.
Outside, the outdoor kitchen has a gas grill and prep space, and a covered, handcrafted pergola overlooking the pond seats 8+ for dinner under string lights.
A group of four stayed at David's house for a golf trip to nearby Wild Spring Dunes/Pine Dunes/Tempest. It was a perfect home base for the trip. Great house, very private and quiet, and David was an excellent host. Bonus, they make and sell their own honey (check the pantry) and it is delicious.
We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one has been by far our favorite! The hosts have truly thought of everything. Everywhere you look, you notice another little detail that makes this place so special. From the beautiful decor to all the thoughtful touches throughout the house, it’s clear how much care they’ve put into making their guests feel at home. The house is beautiful, the property is gorgeous, and everything is so well thought out. It’s the little things that really make all the difference! This was by far the best stay we’ve had using VRBO or any other vacation rental company. The best thing about the property is it very private and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The house is beautiful and spacious the pond is full of fish and the fire pit is just a perfect spot to hang out! David is an awesome host answering all my questions very fast and the occasional check in is nice too! I give this place a very high rating the only complaint I have is we ran out of time!
We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is beautiful as shown in the pictures. David and Theresa took care of everything what you could need in the house. There’s so much to do outside of the house. It was amazing feeding the fish, stargazing in hot tub and riding the EV in the woods. We will definitely be back.
The cabin is very private and peaceful. The hot tub was a special touch. The amenities in the kitchen were a nice touch. The pond is beautiful, enjoyed some fishing, kayaking, and feeding the abundant Blue Gills around the dock. The stars at night are a sight to see! The 4x4 was enjoyed by the entire family and was a memorable moment for the grandchildren. Highly Recommend ☺︎
